Nigerian singer and songwriter Reekado Banks, in an exclusive interview, explained the reasons why he “took a break from the Nigerian music scene”. The former Mavin Records artist had be somewhat out of the scene for a while, with so many suggesting he might have called it a quit. However, on an interview with Glitch Africa, the singer stated that he “needed to take a break” for himself. According to the artist, this break was vital in making sure he devotes more into his comeback. This comeback is eminent as the afrobeats artist recently released the hit single ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe’ together with the ‘Off the Record EP’ project. Watch the full interview below.
