Nigeria and afrobeat superstar, Davido, has been making headlines on social media as the feud with his cousin continues over the political drama in their family. On January 18, 2022, Davido on his twitter handle slam his cousin, Dele Adeleke, for choosing to contest in the Osun State gubernatorial race against his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who had contested for the seat before but lost. This singer is completely against this move by his cousin and this prompted him to warn the people of Osun to be warery of his cousin, describing him as an unworthy leader. in January 19, the artist still took to his twitter handle again, blasting his cousin. According to Davido, his cousin paid some people to write an article about him which also referenced his late mum, a gesture at which Davido did not find pleasing. His cousin, however, stated in a tweet that he knew nothing about the said article and would never disrespect Davido’s mum.
